The German company is preparing a second restyling for its crossover, and it has already been spotted by photo spies during testing. How will its appearance change?
The Q7 is the brand’s first production crossover and was first unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show as a production version of the 2003 Pikes Peak quattro concept. The first generation of the SUV turned out to be a long-liver, having lasted 10 years on the assembly line. Today, the second generation Q7 is being produced, which premiered at the end of 2014. In the summer of 2019, the crossover received its first restyling , and it turned out to be very noticeable: the front and rear parts of the model were almost completely updated. The time has already come for the planned generational change, but instead the Germans are preparing another update.

It will be less radical than the first, but there will still be clear differences from the current car. The front part will again be completely new: slightly larger reshaped headlights with a different filling, an updated radiator grille with a different filling and a new front bumper will appear here. On the side, no major changes are expected, and behind the spy photos through the disguise, for now, you can only see the new graphics of the LED elements in the lights, which will not change their shape.

The crossover is built on the MLB Evo platform, which is also used by other crossovers of the concern – Volkswagen Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. While there is no reliable information about technical changes, it can be assumed that the Q7 will get a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines from the current crossover, except that more hybrid modifications will be added to them.
The premiere of new items may take place during this year.
