At the beginning of this week, test samples of the restyled compact crossover 2008 were first seen by photo spies. We decided to imagine what the novelty would look like.
The 2008 crossover appeared in the lineup of the French brand in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, becoming the production version of the concept of the same name, demonstrated a year earlier. It was built on the platform of the 208 hatchback and replaced the station wagon 207 SW in the model line. Today, the second generation of the compact SUV, which premiered in 2019, is on the assembly line. The year before last, 2008 reached the Russian market, and we managed to test drive the model . The time is right for a planned restyling, and the first partially camouflaged samples have already been seen on the roads. What will change in the appearance of the model?

Most likely, 2008 will receive an updated LED daytime running light graphics in the style of other new products from the company, including the 308 and 408 models . Along with the lights, the rear bumper can also be changed. The front of the test samples is not hidden and does not differ from the current model, but we can assume that the restyled crossover will still receive a new front in accordance with the current style of the company, as well as a new logo.

The emergence of new hybrid modifications is expected, the basis of which will be the new PureTech gasoline engines with a capacity of 100 and 136 hp. The crossover will be equipped with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The premiere of the restyled 2008 will take place during this year.
