2024 Peugeot 5008. Recently, photo spies first noticed the Peugeot 3008 crossover in a new body, which was a reason for us to imagine how the novelty would look like.
A car with the index 5008 first appeared in the brand line in 2009. This brainchild of a French designer with Russian roots, a graduate of the Ural Academy of Architecture and Art Artem Neretin, was developed on the PF2 platform, on which the Citroen C4 Picasso and the first generation Peugeot 3008 were also based. However, the first 5008 did not claim the title of “crossover” and “ sport-utility”, because it was a typical minivan.
For now, back to the Peugeot 5008, still a minivan. In 2013, the car underwent restyling, and crossover notes appeared in its appearance. In addition to the manual gearbox, the car received a “robot” and a hydromechanical automatic transmission, the range of power units, which previously consisted of 1.6-liter gasoline and two-liter diesel engines (each in two power options), was replenished with a 120-horsepower 3-cylinder 1.2. The release of the Peugeot 5008 minivan continued until 2016, after which it was replaced by the hero of our story.
